“The treachery of demons is nothing compared to the betrayal of an angel.”
Just outside of another unremarkable city, the sickly form of a Doberman sat at the edge of a river. The moon hid behind the safety of the clouds, as if it knew just what was prowling through the forest. A corpse, still warm, was stuck in between two large rocks in the middle of the river. Streaks of blood flowed from the countless wounds, appearing almost black in the faint moonlight.
“Life is so impure,” he murmured, his eyes fixed on the discolored water in front of him. He widened his glowing red eyes as he stood up, pulling back his lips in a snarl. “Death is so much prettier.” He snapped his jaws together and turned his head to look at the body with unnatural speed. “Just look at all the color you’ve added to the river. Let your filth run out, drain from your body with you blood. You have been purified.

The Hunter
Beware The Hunter. He believes it is his life’s mission to purge the world of all sinners, which he believes is the entire population. A devout follower to his god, each kill for him is an act of worship, and he takes them seriously. One of the key aspects of his “ritual” is to let his victims know that he is bringing them salvation, he is purifying them, and/or that he is releasing them from their sins. Though he could easily perform his killings without playing with his prey, he finds thrill in the chase, and the attempted negotiation trapped creatures make for their lives. His horns only appear when he’s sure he’s caught his next offering, and disappear when he leaves their corpse. Spilled blood holds purifying properties for him, refreshing his devotion and dedication with each kill. Curious by nature, but quick to anger, The Hunter looks to learn from the world around him, especially interested in new acts of worship for his god. However, he is no stranger to the pleasures of the flesh, and the temptations of the mortal world.
